My files got deleted because I couldn't process my billing.
I didn't notice that DropBox couldn't process my payment and I don't use DropBox online. I selectively sync so that I can save space on my hard drive. Now when I go online to find my files THEY ARE ALL DELETED. A couple of decades of photographs, my wedding photos, and endless business and personal records ALL DELETED BY DROPBOX. Is there any way to recover them or have they just punched a huge hole in my life and there is no way back to having my essential files back?

Hey TonyTonyTony, welcome to our Community!
Let's jump right into this!
Is it possible that you accessed a new Dropbox account, and not your old one? If you check your events page, what do you see there?
You also mentioned that your account got downgraded, is that correct? Is it possible that you were adding content using your Dropbox folder, but the account didn't have enough space to sync the changes?
Keep me posted!
