Sharing a Folder that you can Save into your Dropbox
Hi, im not sure what happened with these new updates but before my photographer would share the folder with me and I was able to save that whole folder into my dropbox. He would send me "view" link and it would allow me to save that folder. it would say "SAVE FOLDER" and now we tried "view link" and "edit link" and none of them are allowing to save the folder for me. We tried talking to support and they were not able to answer the questions. Is this option no longer available?

We only getting Join Folder option. is there maybe some setting we need to change. We tried every link share option possible its not giving us COPY TO DROPBOX thats for new folders only because when we tried and old folder that we were able to SAVE IT before, it would still allows us to save it. So maybe new default settings on folders not allow it to "COPY TO DROPBOX" ?

Dropbox Product Manager
Hello atcinla,
Thank you for reaching out! I wanted to follow up on an important update across Dropbox (including your mobile device) that addresses the question you had here.
Removal of the Join Folder Option from View-Only Shared Folder Links
We introduced the capability to join a folder directly from a view-only link to make collaboration even easier. While well meaning, we don’t always get it right. We've heard your concerns, and after careful consideration, we've decided to remove this feature. This change will be implemented within the next couple of days. Going forward, recipients visiting a view-only folder link will no longer see the option to Join Folder. No action or setting modification is required on your part. This change affects both new and existing view-only folder links.
Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we encourage you to share any further thoughts or questions you might have. Please let us know if this solves the problem you've been running into!
