Hi EtienneT
Bans are automatically removed by Dropbox - usually after at least 24 hours, although this is longer if you've had bans previously. There is no way around this (even with the help of support) except by paying to upgrade to Pro.

Even paying to upgrade to Pro doesn't help. You'll still be banned for 24. Makes no sense.

So What do the temporary bans do? Is it because it exceeded the 2gb amount so locked it until it went back below that level?

Hey calebhaydock, the mentioned bans are referring to the bandwidth usage of your shared links, not your account's quota.
