Freeing up space on your hard drive is a daunting task. I had to reinstall the Dropbox application and the "Available without connection" or "Online Only" menu is no longer visible. Now there is "Manage hard drive space":
If something worked, why did they change it? It's more difficult to do things that way.
We have thousands and thousands of files to synchronize and I have to wait for it to finish to indicate, one by one, which folders I want to have on the computer and which will only be available online?
For more than 4 hours it has been synchronizing and downloading files to my hard drive that I cannot have because they are too large.
Is there a way to tell it to download everything "Online Only"? This new manager will never finish loading so many files!
Hi @Datamonplus, thanks for posting today.
When you install the Dropbox desktop application, you get the option during the installation to have your files as online-only, or available offline.
If you didn't see this, generally, when you right click the Dropbox folder, you can choose that option as well.
Could you attach a screenshot showing what you're seeing when you right click the Dropbox folder? This will help me to assist further!
