Folder Sharing Banned

Like many others, I've been a Basic Dropbox user for a while...since 2015 actually. Never exceeded my limit. Today I tried to share a folder with an MS Excel spreadsheet in it, then suddenly got this message: "We’ve suspended your sharing activity because of a violation of Dropbox’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service or Services Agreement."

The link on the message to "Learn More" is of no use...mainly because it doesn't mention this particular error. I have no idea what Terms of Service I violated as I was just trying to share an Excel spreadsheet with one person!

Can you help me out here?

Thanks,

Roger Henderson
