Hey @liz0827, thanks for reaching out to us.
Do you know if the link you were sent, is a link that allows editing or is it simply a "view-only" link?
Would you mind sending us a screenshot of what you see after clicking on the link?
Make sure to hide any personal info on the screenshot, though.

Hi Hannah,
Im very positive it is a view only link. after i open up the link to view the file I get a log in for google (it won't let me add a screenshot).
I was thinking it might be because I only have access to the file and not the folder that the file is in. Let me know if you think this might be the issue

Thanks for the update, @liz0827.
The thing is that with view-only links, no login is required.
And if you were sent a link that allows editing, you'd be prompted to sign in to your Dropbox account, not a Gmail account.
You should be able to upload a screenshot to your next reply from the camera icon right above the reply box.
If you're accessing the Community page from your phone, you might need to request the desktop version on your mobile browser.
