Bandwith limit and temporary link info.

Hi, I have a couple of questions about storage limits and conditions:

1) the documentation says in Plus account there is a bandwidth limit of 400GB. Is this daily? Is it about a single file/link or is it cumulative?

2) the method get_temporary_link (https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation#files-get_temporary_link) lasts 4 hours. After 4 hours can I generate a new one or do I have to wait to be able to get a new link?
Isn't there a way to get a "permanent" link?

Thanks

  • Hi lucaferretti, happy Monday!

So, in regards to the first question you had, that would be the daily limit, and it's about all the traffic in your account, so not coming from a specific link.

In regards to the second question, you can always use these steps to create a shared link. However, if you wish to stick to the API method, I'd suggest that you post in our API section, in order for the specialists there to guide you.

    I hope this helps!
