Dropbox desktop app not working on MacOS Sonoma 14.5
my desktop app stopped working, when I click the home icon it continually says "connecting components" without ever getting there. any changes I make to files on my desktop are not visible in the online webpage or on the app on other devices. I have deleted and reinstalled the program multiple times to no avail. I am running macOS Sonoma 14.5 and the current dropbox installation is version 204.4.5420.

I have dropbox v212.4.56.67 and MacOS 14.5. I have been screaming for 3 months with multiple support team members and I'm still stuck with an app which doesn't make my files available offline. Multiple troubleshooting has been attempted and no results. The engineers are looking at my case. Sure. I'm so pissed off.

I am having the same issue after updating. Now I updated Mac OSX to 15.1 and re-installed Dropbox. The issue still persists.

Sorry to hear that, Andalfin. If you’re also seeing the "connecting components” message that’s mentioned in the OP, can you send me a screenshot of it, so that I can have a look?
What's the current app version of your Dropbox app?
