Hey there prayeresteemed ! I’m Theresa, a Community Manager here at Dropbox 👩💻.
I saw your post and totally get the worry about file changes. I use Dropbox for music collabs, and I actually just posted a thread about music collaboration using Dropbox yesterday afternoon !
Dropbox Rewind can be a lifesaver since it lets you roll back files or folders to earlier versions (perfect for those accidental edits 🙊). Another handy feature is File Restore (depending on your plan) you can restore files to up to 365 days 💌. You can also set access controls to keep things tidy and organized 👌
Personally, for my music projects, I like to keep a file structure of drafts, final versions, and archived rough work ( hey, there's no creativity wasted here 😉) ... everything stays clear and accessible 🤗.
