What strategies do Dropbox users employ to effectively manage version control for collaborative projects, especially when working with non-technical team members who might accidentally overwrite or delete important files? 🙂

Hey there prayeresteemed ! I’m Theresa, a Community Manager here at Dropbox 👩‍💻

I saw your post and totally get the worry about file changes. I use Dropbox for music collabs, and I actually just posted a thread about music collaboration using Dropbox yesterday afternoon :notes:!

Dropbox Rewind can be a lifesaver since it lets you roll back files or folders to earlier versions (perfect for those accidental edits 🙊). Another handy feature is  File Restore (depending on your plan) you can restore files to up to 365 days 💌. You can also set access controls to keep things tidy and organized 👌

Personally, for my music projects, I like to keep a file structure of drafts, final versions, and archived rough work ( hey, there's no creativity wasted here 😉) ... everything stays clear and accessible 🤗.

Hope this helps makes your collaboration a little easier (and safer) 🤓!
