Why can't I create folders in the Dropbox folder in my Dropbox team?

Folder creation through the desktop app was taken away with the latest update, this means a lot of extra steps for my team when needing to create a new folder. Why was this taken away? What can we do to get it back?

    Currently, when in a Dropbox team, it won't be possible to create new folders from within the Dropbox folder on your desktop machine. 

     

    You'll need to follow these steps to create them on the Dropbox site.
