I got a message that asked for my Microsoft login but it doesn't work
I am trapped into using dropbox as i got a message from a penn county government agency. tried to open it, but it asked for my microsoft login id,..which i do use, and recently tested....but it cann...

it was a legit message...it had a PDF attachment that i was trying to view. when i went to download it, it asked me to log into my microsoft account. it claimed it didnt find my account, and the other buttons didnt work

Also, where exactly did you receive this email and how did the link look like?

i would love to add the screen shots i took...but your camera thingy is the most confusing. it doesnt do the usual "browse your computer" to find the file. even though it says "insert/edit image" there is no insert feature....just source, description, dimensions, and constraints.

well, i got the email in my Outlook. and the attachment looked like any other attachment...but it brought me to dropbox

Did you ensure that you received this email from a trusted email address/contact of yours @CptDreadRoberts?
As for attaching a screenshot here, you should be able to do it via the camera icon, but if it's not working for you, you might need to clear your browser's cache or use another browser.

I love how i have to hit Additional options BEFORE it will let me answer... even though i dont add message tags.
it is a trusted sender...but is a pennsylvania government .org .
i cleared browser cache (using Chrome), no change
tried Microsoft Edge, no change.
tried the government .org email address, it worked..sort of...
asked for password, i dont have one for them.
so i think they goofed and sent a PDF that is locked into their orbit, and I am third rock from the sun.
I emailed them back.
