Hey there, Yvette de Cologne, thanks for posting to our Community!
Can you please clarify what you mean by "linked folders"?
If your account is empty, and you've kept a copy of your files somewhere else, you don't have anything to worry about.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you Hannah for your quick response!
I want to be sure that all my files do not accidentally end up under the account that is being closed. The account that is going to be deleted is a team account and I doubt whether my paid personal account is somehow not part of the team account that is being deleted.
Is my question a little clearer?

Hi Yvette de Cologne, just for clarification, do the accounts have separate email addresses?
If you login to the paid account, does it appear to be part of the team? Are the accounts linked in this way?

Hi Jay, they have different email adresses. And yes they are linked. The paid account is part of the team. My team account is locked but my personal paid account is still running.

This is a part of the dropbox email that is worrying me (copied from dutch):
This is a reminder that the Bureau de Cologne team is still in lockdown status. If Bureau de Cologne is still locked after October 16, 2024, the entire team, including all files, management and member accounts, will be permanently deleted.

Can you please ensure me my files in my paid personal account won't be lost?
