Can you prevent users from adding files into their personal folders on a Dropbox team?
Is it possible to prevent users from saving files to their personal folders while still allowing them full functionality for Team folders?

Hi SLGNJ, thanks for messaging the Community!
Currently it wouldn't be possible to prevent users from adding files into their personal folders on a Dropbox team.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Hi SLGNJ , I'm a PM at Dropbox. Since the functionality doesn't exist, this thread might be better suited as a feature request so that we can track upvotes. That will help us prioritize building this functionality. I did want to ask -
- Could you provide some color as to why you want to block team members from adding files to their personal member folder?
- I'm imagining this as a toggle that allows a team admin to remove all team members' personal folders, so that the team Dropbox consists of only Team Folders. Is that what you're thinking of?
- And lastly, if that were the case, do you have use cases where off-team folks share folders with team members - where would you want those to get saved?
