There was a problem completing this request

When signing up to Dropbox, the above message appeared on my screen. I tried multiple browsers and devices but it still won't let me sign up. I tried to enter other accounts and they work just fine, with no issues (so the device is not the problem). I don't really believe I have accessed in the past to dropbox using this account (btw I'm trying to do it through the gmail option and also by inputting directly the mail)

  • Was able to solve it. Problem was that I was using that account as a secondary or recovery account for another one and Dropbox doesn't seem to alow that. Thanks for your answers and help.

Hey danielbwbn, sorry to hear about this.

Can you please clarify if you're trying to create a new Dropbox account or sign into any existing one?

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache or using an incognito window?

Let me know more and we'll take it from there.

Thanks for the reply, Walter. Yes, I have tried in incognito and tried clearing the cache. I am having a bug I believe. When I try to sign in with the Gmail option it shows me the message "There was a problem completing this request". So I try the Email option. When I write my email on that box and click continue it redirects me to a page that says "Create an account". I try to create the account and when I click on "Agree and Sign up" it shows the message "Email already taken". It is an never-ending loop.

Sorry to hear about this, danielbwbn.

Is it possible to try from a different network, to see if that makes any difference?
