It’s been a week and I still have not heard back from Dropbox, I do not have a ticket number to provide. Meanwhile, my credit card has already been debited. Please advise urgently.

yveslin, did you log your ticket with a different email address than the one you see here?
If yes, please check that email address’s inbox/spam folder and see if you can locate your support ticket now.
