I have a similar situation. I have not used my Dropbox account in almost a year. I actually forgot I had it. Obviously - not something I need. Anyway - I just got a bill for $102 renewal. I received no notification that it was about to renew. I need to obtain a refund for this and cancel or "downgrade" to free account. Can someone help me on how to pursue this. Unfortunately - it is not clear on the website how this can be done. HELP!

Lost my job during the pandemic. Got a charge for Dropbox which I no longer use and am trying to cancel it. Can't get a human on the phone and am very frustrated. UGH!!!! Any help would be appreciated! Not entirely sure if my home email is on the account or if it one of my two work email emails, neither of which are viable anymore. Home email is [email removed as per Community Guidelines] if there is any help available from anybody.

Hello. I was automatically billed $199 this morning for an account I no longer use and thought I had already canceled. I canceled just now after chatting with someone here on Dropbox. But found that the subscription charged for the year remains and will not be canceled until one year. I wish to cancel immediately and reverse the charges for a refund this morning. Can you please help with that?

I have the same issue. I have a plus subscription for $119.98 per year which just renewed on February 15, 2023, i just downgraded my subscription to Basic since I don't need Plus and it shows that my subsciption will be downgraded in February 15, 2024, I want the downgrade now and to get a refund for the unused balance. Please help.

Hi,
I am in a similar situation. Have been paying double subscriptions as somehow two emails are registered and need to cancel and refund. Previously inquired to Dropbox about this at the time when I had access to chat, and they said would refund if I went through process. Now looking into this process and can no longer access the chat or phone! Would appreciate the support to be able to go through with this and obtain due refund.

I have this exact same issue but mine is dated 07/14/23. I thought I had downgraded as well. I only used the app a couple times while trying to send photos back and forth to my brothers in-law. My wife, their sister, passed away on 05/22/23 and we were trying to put together a slide show for her funeral. I'm retired and on a fixed income and I can not afford cable TV let alone a subscription to Dropbox.

Like you said, forgot I even had the account because I havent been using it and without any email warning me of the renewal it was charged! Super frusterated because i would have cancelled and I really don't want to pay another $200 for an account i do not use!

I'm in a similar situation: I signed up for a trial with Dropbox Sign, later went to cancel it in my main Dropbox subscription page, and did not see any such subscription there to cancel. A few weeks later, I got hit with a $180 charge that I did not want or need. Please contact me for refund and cancellation details. Thanks!
