Dropbox Sign
308 TopicsMark document as filed once they are signed
I wanted to inquire about the possibility of adding a feature that allows us to track when a document has been signed and then mark it as filed, once the necessary actions have been completed. Currently, we use Dropbox to track when users have signed the 8879 (the agreement to file their tax return). While we can see when the document is signed, we don't have a system to visually confirm once it has been filed. Right now, the process requires manual verification by checking the document to ensure that it's been filed after signed. I am assuming many customers use the platform for business process like this. This would be a way to attract customers to use the platform for tracking process as well- just by adding a box to check off or categorize. What we are hoping for is a way to easily mark or "check off" the signed document once it has been filed, creating a clear indication that this step has been completed. Ideally, this would allow us to streamline our workflow and reduce the risk of missing this final step. Is there a way to implement such a feature in the system? Please let me know if this makes sense or if any further clarification is needed. Thank you.12Views0likes1CommentRestore Access Code in Dropbox Sign
Dropbox Sign previously allowed users to add an access code when sending documents directly through the website. This feature has recently been removed. I have been told by the support team that it is possible to include an access code by sending documents through HelloSign, but unfortunately this adds extra steps requiring users to reupload signed documents back to Dropbox. Restoring this feature would significantly improve workflow efficiency by ensuring that signed documents are automatically saved to Dropbox without additional steps.40Views0likes7CommentsDropbox Sign missing Template Links option
I've seen someone else have the same issue as me and posted a question on the 23rd Jan. Since the Dropbox Sign templates have been moved app.hello.sign.com the function "create template link" is no longer available on Business accounts. Seems absolutely bonkers that this is the case and so can Dropbox please look to reintroduce this functionality - especially for business accounts where this kind of thing is required frequently.8Views0likes1CommentHow can I log in to Dropbox Sign?
Our company has a DropBox Essentials account, which we use primarily for the DropBox Sign (formerly HelloSign) service. Ever since we signed up for DropBox Sign I have had problems logging in. I go to DropBox Sign and enter my email address and get the strange message: "Looks like there's already a DropBox account with this email. Continue with DrobBox" And from here I have two links to "Continue." I haven't used DropBox for a few months and it's disheartening to colme back and see that nothing has changed. Can someone please answer the following questions: Is there an actual DropBox Sign web site? Or am I supposed to sign in on DropBox (dropbox.com)? If there is a DropBox Sign web site, can someone please supply me with a URL so I don't have to go through this confusion every time I log in?Solved150Views0likes3CommentsDropbox Sign does not work in web view, it gives me an error.
I have a problem and it is that when loading the document to be signed in a web view, it first loads and appears loading but then an error appears that says (something went wrong when preparing your signature request. Please try again) and the strange thing about this Is that when I try exactly the same code but on the web it works normally, do you know what it could be? I leave an image of how it looks on web and mobile791Views0likes8CommentsDropbox Sign missing Template Links option
I am a new Business Team plan Admin member (3 user), and creating new templates in Dropbox Sign (Dropbox signatures redirects me automatically), but I do not have an option to "create template link" as has been described in the help articles and posts in these forums. It is missing as an option for me even though I have a plan that should include it. There should be a little pulldown arrows to the right of the Blue button in the corner, but from my screenshot below, mine doesnt have it. Can someone confirm if Dropbox Sign still offers this, or if there is something going on with that feature in general, or how I can resolve this? I have confirmed this behavior on 3 different computers. I'm guessing there was possibly an app update that has removed the "right click" > "Send for Signature" function from Dropbox ? How do I go about getting it back ?1.4KViews1like26Comments
