I'm glad to inform you that I checked my credit card records and found that the refund amount was credited the day after I initiated the refund.
So, the money issue is resolved. It seems that the pending status shown in Dropbox's refund process is not accurate.

Hey aa_honor, I hope you're doing well!
In general it takes 3 to 5 business days for a refund to be processed by payment vendors. If the refund has indeed been applied on our end, then you might need to contact your bank.
Have you tried talking to your payment vendor, and asking about this at all?
