I got an error while upgrading, but the money has been taken out of my account
I literally just upgraded from basic to a plus account because I cant access a shared file I need. Bought it and it said error, restored purchases still get a error....Literally JUST bought this subs...

I received an apple subscription confirmation yes. Nothing from Dropbox.

Sorry to hear about this, dannyreevell.
Can you open the Dropbox app, tap on 'account', then on the gear icon and then on 'restore purchases', to see if that helps?

Have you tried the "restore purchases" option mentioned in my previous reply above?

I did try that, it gave me an error which was (NSURLErrorDomain error 409)

If you check your bank statement, does the transaction appear to be completed, or is it still in pending state?
Do you have another email address perhaps that could be linked to your paid plan?
- Amberlynn n2 years agoNew member | Level 2Just happened to me too, first tried with the plus, and now the professional option too, so now I have two charges as of today and my Dropbox account still says basic. All the same error codes, also tried restoring purchase, error.
