Hi rjmassey, let's see what we can find on this.
Can you also try an incognito mode on one of your browsers to see if the same thing happens then?
Also, do you try to start a new trial, or purchase the Plus plan itself?

Hi, I got the very same problem. Tried incognito mode and to buy a new plus plan (but the system wouldnt´t let me).

Thanks. It didn't work on other browswers, incognito mode, or other computers. I eventually got in touch with someone at dropbox via facebook messenger. They confirmed that dropbox are having trouble with their 3DS, the bank verification system. (But I'm still glad to hear from you too that it's not just me.) They are working on a solution... don't know how long it will take...

Hi - I too am receiving a blank box every time I attempt to go through the process to sign up for the free trial.
It's a bit ridiculous really - for a company the size of DropBox with the amount of revenue and business it gets from society.I am considering asking a friend whom is a tech journalist- to try this herself.
Perhaps some young bright tech graduates could design a better service for us all?
