How to unlink old laptop
I am giving my laptop to a friend and I want to make sure that my friend can't access my drop box files. How do I "unlink" my dropbox from my old laptop? It shouldn't be difficult but I am having trouble finding how to unlink it. TIA

Hey KCT1! Hope you're doing great.
If you've installed the desktop app on your device and it's currently not syncing any files, you can easily log out of it with these steps. Once it's no longer syncing to your online Dropbox account, you can delete the local Dropbox folder as well, so that your friend can't access your local files.
Besides that, please make sure you've signed out of your Dropbox account on www.dropbox.com on all web browsers.
Hope this clarifies things, but I'm here if you need something.
