Hey JFC1812, does your Dropbox account use the same email address where you received the message about the space? Could you have a second account under a different email address?

Hello, Have you been regularly active on that account? I ask because, according to Dropbox's policy, accounts are automatically deactivated and files deleted if there's 12 months of inactivity

Hi Maher1882
Yes the account is active and i can access files but at 2 gb i am told i need more space but my account says i have 7.75 gb. it seem Dropbox are not honouring the additional space i earned by inviting new users. and i cant find a way to discuss it with them- maher1982Super User
Maybe it's the back up files, What does your Backups page report? Could you please check your quota level on this page and let us know what you see about your Personal Dropbox space?

Hi there,
I am having the same issue. On my page it says I have 2GB of data and am using 23.4MB. It also says I have a total of 7.7GB of unused space. I keep getting emails saying i am out of space and cannot access files i have been sent.
