I had accumulated space from referrals, but I'm only seeing the 2GB now.

I've had Dropbox since around 2014.

Due to all the people I recommend, My Dropbox use to be around 6gb or more.

Now it’s back to the basic level.

What has happened?

bevcripps, what you’re seeing is the space provided by Dropbox Basic, in general; this doesn’t reflect the actual space granted for your Dropbox account, following the referral quota you’ve acquired.

Can you click on your avatar instead (the little icon with your initials at the top right corner) and select “Manage account” from the menu? Are you seeing the correct space then?

    Hello,

The same happened to me. Here is the screenshot of the page you said (showing me it's ok) (continue after the image) :

But I get a warning in my dropbox that I'm close to the limit and I exceed my quota blablabla, then I get redirected to the payment options (saying my limit is 2gb and I haev 5,3 gb of files, exceeding the limit.

Can you please look at it? thank you

Hey Fe C.! I’m guessing you’re getting this message because you have about 1GB of space left on your account.

Are you having any issues, if you try and upload a very small file, by any chance? I’d like to see if you get any errors then.

        Hi,

I could upload a 30mb file without problems, but there was evidently a bug if I get the warning of OUT OF SPACE (no short of space).

        Thanks, kind regards
