No share.. option when right clicking
I am using the desk top version on my Mac. When I right click there have always been little dropbox icons with "share . . ." being the first one (see picture). Those are now gone when I right click ...
- 4 years agoHey IraNeuEra!
Can you try re-installing the newest version of the app on your device, using this link?
Let me know if the same thing happens then.

Hey IraNeuEra, thanks for using Dropbox and happy Monday!
Could you please let me know the app's status as shown in your menu bar?
Also, do you see any Dropbox options when you right click on your files that are inside your Dropbox folder?
Keep me posted!

Thanks for the reply. I don't see any "status" notification in the icon. The icon is still in the menu bar, if that is what you mean.
I am able to right click and share, if It is straight from the menu bar, but the option disappears as soon as I click the "file folder" icon, which opens up a separate window, which continues to give me trouble when sharing for some reason. Notice in the picture that the
dropbox icons are no longer present and that other "share" option further down, doesn't have the same enter email option. (even after I clicked the three dots and clicked on "add person". How do I get the dropbox options back?
- Megan4 years agoDropbox StaffHi IraNeuEra, Sorry for jumping in here!
Have you tried re-booting the device?
Also, I would like you to locate your little Dropbox icon.
It would be on the menu bar, next to your WiFi and the date and time icon.
Once you do this, could you hover your mouse there and let me know what the version and status of the Dropbox Desktop application is?

when I hover over the application ICON on the menu bar, nothing happens. When I click it I can see my files but no version or anything like that.
