Mac OS and shared folders
I've been a Windows user forever. Just started using a Macbook.
On my Windows machine, using Dropbox integration in Windows Explorer, I can see my individual user folder as well as what I will call the Master "team folder." They display at the same folder level.
On my Mac, after installing the Dropbox app, I can only see my user folder but not the Master "team folder." I'm assuming this is a setting. What do I need to do to access the Master folder.

Could you check your selective sync settings to ensure the team folder is enabled to sync down to your machine?

I thought the Dropbox app would be where to go. But when I open the Dropbox app through Launcher, it puts me in the Dropbox folder in Finder.
Like I said, new to Mac OS, so I apologize if I'm being obtuse.

As an avid Windows user who recently changed to Mac, I can really empathize with you on this, it can be really frustrating when what would be a simple tasks on one OS becomes really difficult on another. I still cannot get it to work. I created a team folder that is on the same level as the folder DB created in my name. It is called "Company" I can see the folder with my name, but not any of the other folders on the same level.
