My Firewall was actually turned off. I turned on and added Dropbox. So far no changes in syncing.

Sequoia 15.0.1. I have Dropbox basic. Not sure which version.

You can see the version of the Dropbox desktop application using these steps.
Could you also click the Dropbox icon in the menu bar and see the status of the app on the bottom left?

Jay, There is no preferences when I click on the avatar. There is a preferences under settings but no "about dropbox" there. Also, I do not have a dropbox icon in the menu bar.
