How to restore folder I deleted off local drive
I deleted a folder from my local dropbox drive while leaving it still available in my online account. I now want to sync it back to my local drive. How do I go about that? I tried downloading the folder and copying it back into my local drive and it appended a "conflict" text string to the folder name.
Okay, could you first try checking the selective sync settings using the steps in my previous post to see if the folder in question is unchecked?
If so, check it and the folder should download from the site onto your machine.

Hi B West, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
How did you delete the folder off your local drive?
Did you use selective sync, which deletes local folders and keeps them on the site, or did you mark the folder as available online-only?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi Jay, sorry I don't remember what I did. At present the folder is in my online account, but not in my local drive. Note, it's still available locally on my other devices.
