Can I change the URL of a shared link?

after saving my apk, dropbox created a url for. is there a way i can change that url.

  • Hi Ray, are you referring to a shared link to that file?
     
    If so, you can’t customize it to a URL you’d prefer, however you can delete and recreate the link which will generate a new link.
     
    If I’m misunderstanding something, please let me know!

      so i can keep deleting it until i find a shorter url.

        I guess you could, but it would take time, and since the URL is random there’s no guarantee that you’ll get one you’re satisfied with!

      As mentioned above, we don't currently have a way to customise shared links themselves. You could try using a link shortening service like Rich suggested above though if that helps.
