Can I change how folders are sorted in the Selective sync settings?

All users at my company are incredibly frustrated with the seeming locked sorting method of the desktop app.  It is different even from their Dropbox web sorting method.  Files on the desktop app are sorted Alpha-numerically, rather than the traditional numerical sorting.  For example:

Traditional Sorting (Dropbox Web, Windows Explorer, etc.):  1, 2, 3, ...9, 10, 11, ...22, ...45, ...105, ...1052, etc. (I've omitted many numbers, but this illustrates traditional ascending by name (or number)).  Feel free to test this - create a blank folder, and subfolders within.

Confusingly, the engineers of the Dropbox Desktop App have locked in a sorting method that seems to sort the numbers alphabetically.  For example (using the same numbers from before):  1, 105, 1052, 11, 2, 22, 3, 45, 9.

It is beyond frustrating to have such an unconventional sorting method applied.  If someone has found a way to fix this.  You'd be a life saver.

Hi again, Contoured_TL, thanks for this query.

I'm afraid the way folders are sorted in the Selective sync settings cannot be changed.

However, I've made sure to pass your comments along to our team, so thanks for the feedback on this.
