Adding Microsoft Office Online to Connected Apps
How do I add Microsoft Office Online to my connected apps to dropbox so that I can open dropbox files with Microsoft Office Online? Do I need a business account do access this feature?
Make sure that the documents you're trying to open in Word online are in .docx format. The older .doc format is not supported by Microsoft's Online apps. The same holds true for Excel and PowerPoint.

This is available to all accounts. Here are some quick steps:
- Go ahead and make sure you are logged into your Office 365 account.
- Go to dropbox.com and click to open a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document.
- In the top-right, click Open With, and then click the appropriate Office app.
- You will then be prompted to Allow the connection.
You are now connect. You can then go into Settings > Connected apps to verify.

Hello Gregoc,
Thank you for replying! The problem is that no Microsoft Office Online apps appear as options when I click "Open with" even when I am logged into my Dropbox account and Office 365 Account. My options are:
Send for signature
Adobe Sign
DocuSign
Hello Sign
Send Fax
HelloFax
Download
Download
Nowhere does it say
Edit
Microsoft Word Online (or other app)
