Adding files to shared folder
Hello,
How do I add files to Shared folder(my clients dropbox), when I don't have enough space on my account?
- Hi juri, thanks for messaging the Community!
As you've noticed, shared folders do take up quota on all active members' accounts.
If you don't have enough quota on your account, you can ask them to create a file request to upload files to their account.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

Thanks for asking and answering this. (Solved for me too).
@Dropbox, this method/feature is retarded.
I'm putting together a family photobook, I alone have easily enough storage on my Dropbox account for this small photo project so I say hey fam, send me your terrible pictures from the weekend, I'll collate!
....But my dear old dad can't just follow my link and drop me his photos, bc he's maxed out his own storage. WTF?! Who cares about HIS storage, I'm making the photo album.
Thanks Jay, your answer from a year ago solved my problem. Stupid file request.
