Not able to contact support. Can I recover files somehow?

I tried to file a ticket, but received an error message. "We couldn't submit your request at this time, please try again later".

I tried on two devices and three browsers, also incognito mode on one of them.

I have a particularly weird situation and this is a shot in the dark, but Is there any way to recover files? I was trying to move some files out of my dropbox account to save space, and had not paid for plus at the time. I had an issue with that, and now am afraid they may be gone.

    Hi there giantfromjax - thanks for bringing this to our attention. 

     

    When it comes to restoring files from Dropbox, have you tried doing it via the deleted files page or the events page by any chance?

     

    Also, can you clarify the plan you're on at the moment and send us a screenshot of the error you get when trying to submit a ticket?

      I have two screenshots, but I am having some trouble inserting them.

      The deleted files page shows none found. I can see them on the events page but not restore them. They were deleted in August.

      As far as my account it's Plus, but I only did that today.

        You should be able to add your screenshots through  the camera icon within your reply box giantfromjax 

         

        Also, when exactly were those files deleted in August? Is it more than 30 days ago?

      screenshotOn mobile, I don't see a camera button. On my laptop I do, but when I insert it. It shows me a broken image tag. 

       

      Ah, that was my mistake, I think I fixed it.

       

      It has been more than 30 days, sadly. around August 7th. I would have  tried sooner, but I went to other options for support first. It's complicated, but I was moving them, rather than copying them to another server using Expandrive. That transfer is hanging. I approached them for help, but they took three weeks and 4 emails to give me an unhelpful answer.

       

      I'm guessing I'm too late, and it's my own fault.
