Hi there, damiandaniela, and sorry to hear about this.
Were those files shared with someone else, or simple, non-shared files?
I'd suggest checking your deleted files, your events and your shared page, in the case that the files were shared.
Let me know what you find.

HI Megan, thank you for your reply. Some of the files I cannot see anymore were shared but not all of them. I am pretty sure no one deleted them. Though I checked the deleted files, events, etc. I can only access Deleted files for the last 30 days. Is there anyone I can talk to who can look for the specific files explicitly, and see if they can be found. These were important files and this is disturbing that they dissapeared from my folders, especially those that were not shared. Thank you.

Hi damiandaniela. Do you remember when was the last time you saw these files on www.dropbox.com?
Did you also use the search bar on your web account and no results came up?
When checking out the Shared tab, you looked at all the sections (for files & folders) and there was nothing relevant, correct?
Let me know and we’ll take it from there.
