You can reset the file path for these folders with the steps below:
- Navigate to the system's Desktop/Downloads/Documents folders via the File Explorer (not the folders in Dropbox).
- Right click the folder and choose "Properties".
- Go to the "Location" tab.
- Choose to reset the default folder path.
If you're having trouble locating these folders, they would be under the path C:/users/[your username]/
If you have any trouble with these steps then please let me know the exact step that you're running into issues. You can send along a screenshot too if relevant.

To be clear, you're still running Dropbox, and you're just trying to remove "Dropbox" from the path?

And you're still running the Dropbox application? If so, you can't remove Dropbox from the path. Your base Dropbox folder will always be Dropbox.
If, however, you've uninstalled Dropbox and are no longer using it, and you still see Dropbox in the path to your key folders (Desktop, Documents, etc.), then you can follow Daphne's instructions from the beginning of this thread to move those folders back to their original location.

Okay, I understand. I guess I was hoping to keep Dropbox but remove the path. Thank you for your answer!
