File synchronization with the Apps folder not working
Hi there.
I have a security camera running on a Raspberry Pi which takes photos of motion and uplaods these to a DropBox folder via the DropBox API.
The system has generated in excess of 20 000 files over a number of years. I wish to download all of these and ease your servers --- these are small images of <100kb each.
Sadly I cannot get my Android mobile device or my PC to sync folders within the Apps folder.
Please advise a way to either:
1) Sync these folers
2) Download these files as a zip file (also unable to zip the folder owing to large number of files)
Thanks.

Doceave It sounds like the API portion of this is working properly, i.e., the uploads via the API completed successfully, so I'm afraid I can't offer too much help here in the API forum.
For reference, app folders should sync to your connected devices just like any other folder in your account. If you're not seeing the syncing working properly (e.g., files seen on dropbox.com aren't syncing to your devices), please contact support for help troubleshooting the syncing issue on your account:

There are also some help center articles that can help with troubleshooting such issues:
