downgrade
238 TopicsI've paid for my plan's renewal, but my account was downgraded instead.
Billing and charge of subscription plan has not been processed through my Master Card. Please note, that the actual payment of the changed 119.88 Euros by PayPal DROPBOXINTE Ref. N235314369001GB has already been processed on the 21. October 2024. By E-Mail correspondencey of the ten / 10. November 2024 you downgraded my subscription plan. And now, you would even like to be trashing the stored data on the server space, which I already payed for the entire next year. With actual plan - I have no access what so-ever to an living operator from the Customer Support Team, not by Chat, nor do I have an E-mail response permissor, or a telephonic call in- call- out option. I could not fill the Billing Request Form, as the link to it was not working. I am very disappointed, but I still ask for an URGENT ASSISTENCY - and UPGRADE TO MY USUAL SUBSCRIPTION PLAN, WHICH BY THE WAY, HAS ALREADY BEEN PAYED IN OCTOBRR. Thank you for a response. Miss Medugno Brunella Samantha Tuesday 12/11/2024 Belgium. PS. I have a print screen of the Transaction from the 21. October 2021 about the actual payment of the subscription charge of 119.88 Euros. Which I happily would send to you. THX'S47Views0likes8CommentsBusiness account gone - I got locked out and the account got downgraded
Hi For years I've had a Dropbox business account and last renewed in February for three members. But today I was locked out of it and my plan reverted to basic, meaning nowhere near enough data for me and my team. The reason may have been an expired credit card, even though my subscription should run through February 2025. Does anyone know how I can get back into my business account? Is there anyway to get in touch with an actual human at Dropbox? I am being charged monthly for Dropbox account that I do not have, and I cannot for the life of me get an actual person to help with this on the Dropbox side. Is the only option to go to my bank and dispute the charges? Thanks! Bethany2.1KViews1like18CommentsHow can I downgrade to my old Plus account?
Hi Dropbox Support Team, I am currently facing an issue with my Dropbox account. I initially purchased the Dropbox Plus 2TB subscription, which I paid for in full. Later, I tried a free trial of the Dropbox Teams/Business Account, but that trial has now expired. Since then, I keep getting prompts to provide billing information to maintain access to my files. All I want to do is cancel the Teams/Business subscription and revert back to my original Dropbox Plus plan, which I've already paid for. However, when I attempt to cancel the Teams plan, it warns me that all my files will be deleted. This is extremely concerning. I’ve tried resolving this on my own, but the support options are not helpful, and I’m struggling to find a solution. Can someone please assist me with removing the Teams account and reinstating my Dropbox Plus subscription without losing any of my files?Solved69Views0likes1CommentDropbox cancelled my subscription of 2TB plan
A week ago, my Dropbox desktop app suddenly stopped syncing files. I checked the problem and found out that Dropbox had canceled my 2TB subscription plan for no apparent reason, downgrading my account to the Free Plan. I had paid for the 2TB subscription plan in January (2 months ago) for the entire year, so my subscription should end on January 24. I have opened 4 tickets, but I haven't received any solutions. Actually, support hasn't answered my emails for the past 4 days. I am fed up and tired of waiting. I don't know if anyone else has had a similar problem and how it could be fixed. The question is, can someone recommend me a good alternative to Dropbox? Due to the situation, I am looking for a new app. I was very happy using Dropbox, but I can't wait any longer. I need an app to sync my files across my devices. Regards.845Views1like9CommentsI changed subscription (Dropbox team to my own 3 TB) and all folders are now empty
Hi, lately I closed my team profile from my compagny. I changed to a personal 3 tb subscription and suddenly all folder are emty. Although I used to be the one who could change everything. I changed files to an new folder in the hope it was a sync problem. It was not and using rewind ended up losing everything. What can I do now? I am a bit afraid that i lost 2tb of information and work. Doe anyone have a clue how to get my files back? Kind regards Jobbe266Views0likes6CommentsI downgraded from Pro to Basic, still got charged, and PayPal paid it.
The tricky part is that I can no longer even make contact to request the refund, since I no longer have that privilege (because of downgrading) even though I actually paid for it (and didn't want it)... Classic Catch-22. I'm very hopeful that someone can help me — I have been a Pro-level customer for years, and would appreciate assistance. Thanks, Paula MSolved271Views0likes5CommentsWill I go back to my original storage limit after downgrading my account?
Hi, my Dropbox Basic plan has a storage limit of ~18 GB. I’m wondering, if I buy Dropbox Essentials (3 TB) subscription for couple of months and go back to Dropbox Basic, will my account continue to have the ~18 GB limit?Solved277Views0likes3CommentsImmediate Refund Request
Requesting a refund for the charge applied to our charity’s account, as a result of missing the cancellation of the free trial by only two days. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to cancel the subscription within the trial period, missing it by just two days. We immediately cancelled the subscription upon realising the oversight and downgraded the account to the free plan. Since then, we have not used Dropbox nor benefited from the paid plan at all. Our charity is currently operating on very limited funds, I kindly request refunding the charge please. Our organisation is dedicated to human rights/injustice cases and every penny counts toward our efforts to make a meaningful impact. We would like to continue using Dropbox under the free plan until such a time that we can justify a paid subscription. However, the current charge poses a significant strain on our limited resources. We would deeply appreciate amendment to this matter. Megan306Views0likes8Comments
