Use image EXIF for Dropbox tags and/or captions
Hello, is it possible for Dropbox to read EXIF in images? It would be great for images that require a caption along with tags. Also, it would be very very appreciated if third parties for Wordpress would be able to show these captions and tags with a simple code.
I keep seeing conflicted copies for my audio files, after using a third-party software.
Hi! Recently I've been getting problems with duplicate files when I export audio files from my software directly into a Dropbox folder . One of them is labled "conflicted copy", (I think that's the english term, I've got dropbox in swedish where it says "konfliktkopia"). The one that has the original file name only is always incomplete, the end of the audio file is cut. I've read that "conflicted copy" is something that happens when multiple users are editing the same file. However, I'm the single user on the account and I'm pretty sure I haven't been hacked by someone who consistently exports my audio files the same minute I am. Something seems to happen when I export the files (and thus add them to Dropbox). Like Dropbox thinks it's a new file, while it's still being rendered, and therefore thinks it's a conflict? I've been using dropbox for years and never had this before. Any ideas on how to solve it? I'm using a mac with Ventura 13.6.4. I also have dropbox installed on an iPhone, if that might be causing this somehow.I'm now unable to save edited videos?
Suddenly I'm not able to save edited videos anymore? I can do all the edits /trim, cut, rotate, etc) but when I want to save a New Copy nothing happens and I have to abort with "changes not saved"!? Everything worked well until last week when this suddenly occured?? I work on a standard lap top with windows 11 installed, no changes were made the last week from my part.
Error "Could not save because the file is already in use" when editing with Photoshop
Hi The problem I mentioned below has been quite common since the last Dropbox update and continues to cause problems. This problem occurs in 4 out of every 10 photos saved from all 10 PCs I use. It is important for us to find a solution to this problem. ADobe Photoshop Could not save as "..........." because the file is already in use or was left open by another application.
Missing updates on a file I've been editing
Hi all! I copied a file from one folder in Dropbox to another folder still in Dropbox on nov. 8th. I modified and saved that certain file several times since nov. 8th until today (I last accessed it on thursday nov. 14th). Yesterday evening I tried to access it again and I found it in the same initial version, more exactly the one on nov. 8th. I searched in the previous sessions in my PC and also here online, but it's like my modifications never even existed. Below please find a pic of the activity on the file. How do you think I could get back the most current verision (the one on thursday nov. 14th would be the last one). Thank you in advance for your kind response(s)!
