How to disable annoying "Upload Complete" pop-up
I have multiple Dropbox accounts for several different clients, and as such, I must use the Dropbox website for uploading and downloading files I share for one of my clients. When I want to add my files to a Dropbox folder via the website, I always get a pop-up box with a confirmation that my upload has completed. This pop-up box is very annoying. It takes up a lot of space in the lower left corner of my screen, and the only way to get rid of it is to close it by clicking the "X." I upload files all day long and this confirmation pops up every single time. This requires a lot of extra clicking so that I can uncover and see pertinent information on my screen. Question - is there any way to disable this notification, or at the very least change it so that it pops up but disappears on its own after a second or two?
Users don't get an email confirmation when uploading multiple files via file request.
I am trying to enable my users to upload files directly from their iPhones (Files apps) using a file request. When my users upload a single file (in response to clicking the file request link), they receive a confirmation message when complete. When they upload multiple files they receive no confirmation message. In both cases I, the account owner, receive messages indicating the users have submitted files, and the files are located the the correct DB folder associated with the file request. Thank you.
Not getting notifications when files are added to folder
As the title says, I'm not getting notifications when a file has been added to a shared folder that I created. I can see that something was added if I view "Sharing activity," but I'm not getting notified. In fact, when I click the bell icon to view my notifications, the last notification I have is from last month... so, if there is sharing activity from 10/17, how come there is no matching notification about a file being uploaded? I noticed this happening today, when I received an email last night about "Last week's updates in your shared folders." I'm like LAST WEEK????? How come I'm just now seeing this??? (Granted, it was just Thursday when they were added, so it hasn't been a full week, but still...) File added 10/17 (today is 10/22) and I'm just now finding out that some files were added. Do users removed from shared folders receive a notification?
If I remove a user from a shared folder (being myself the owner of the folder), will that user that has been removed receive a notification? I'd like to remove a user from one of my shared folders, but I don't want that user to know that they have been removed."Shared Link" notification appears constantly on the Dropbox desktop app and website
Hello, everytime that I connect myself on dropbox (website or app) I receive a popin (Shared Link) with 2 action buttons (Dismiss or View) that mentions that xxx shared a folder of 10 photos with me. When I click on view it generated an error. I have contacted the person that says that the folder doesn't exist anymore at her side. How can I get rid of the super annoying popin. Thanks
