"Photos" is hard to use because thousands of photos show up under July 2023
That is probably because it was in July 2023 that I first started using Dropbox, and uploaded an several old folder of pictures. Everything from mobile camera to memes and downloaded pictures.
Is there any way to either exclude certain folders from being shown in "Photos", or to make it read the file metadata to see the actual date

Hi Ploppz, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps?
Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
This will help me to assist further!

Hi Jay,
Does Dropbox function really depend on browser/plugins?
I get the same exact behaviour on Firefox Linux, Firefox Windows, and Chrome on Windows with no extensions.

Actually, I just found out this: All these photos come from a folder that was added in July 2023. It just included so much random and old stuff, because it was from a backed-up folder of all my facebook data. Which includes even stuff like stickers sent etc... I'll look into zipping that folder up so that the images don't show up in Photos I guess.
Would be really neat to be able to exclude folders from appearing in Photos though!
