How can I report to DropBox that some essential page functionality isn't working? (Their HTML/CSS has disabled even vertical scrolling, so some page content isn't visible or reachable.)
I can't find anything on or near https://www.dropbox.com/support for actually contacting them (and the chatbot didn't understand my question).
I'm looking at the page displayed for an empty folder, at a URL like https://www.dropbox.com/home/SomeFolder. There's a dashed-line box, containing UI elements suggesting various actions, e.g., "Access this folder ...", "Share and manage access ..."
Any additional action elements and the bottom of that box don't happen to fit within the browser display pane, so, of course, I tried scrolling down--but I couldn't! Vertical scrolling in disabled (or broken).
DropBox's page's implementation (HTML/CSS/Javascript) apparently either has disabled vertical scrolling or has messed with it in a way that breaks in some situations. (I'm seeing the problem in Chrome on a Mac.)
[Edit: The problem also appears in Firefox and Safari, so the breakage doesn't seem to be a browser problem.]
How can I report this page breakage to DropBox?
Thanks.
Hi @Daniel765, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you attach a screenshot showing what you're describing?
This will help me to assist further!

Yes. See below.

Well, a screenshot can't show that the page won't scroll when I use a scrolling gesture (here, dragging two fingers up or down on the Mac trackpad). However, ...
It does show the absence of the vertical scroll bar (though that might be absent on someone else's Mac or browser based on their preferences and settings).
It does show the empty-folder hint content that (partly) shows up. Hopefully that gives you some useful context.
Also, I notice that even when I zoom in a lot, so that the text becomes huge and most content overflows the browser's display pane for the page, the page still is not scrollable--neither vertically nor horizontally.
I see that vertical scrolling seems to be working fine on at least two page for non-empty folders. (The vertical scrollbar shows up and functions, and the drag-to-scroll-vertically gestures work.)
So ... it looks like the problem is specific to the extra hint content that you show for empty folders.
Thanks for the info. Just for clarification, does the issue persist when using incognito mode with any extensions running?

Yes. It persists in Chrome's Incognito mode.

I don't know that any are running in Incognito mode. Did you mean "without" instead of "with" there?
(In Incognito mode, the extensions icon (like a jigsaw puzzle piece) doesn't show up in/after the address bar, and I can tell that one extension that is active in normal mode is not active.)
Apologies, I meant without any extensions running. This is to confirm that any potential extensions don't affect functionality on the site.

I'm experiencing this same problem on every single page of the developer documentation website. For example, if you try to view the API documentation here:
https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation#files-get_metadata
which is roughly 414 printed pages, you can see precisely one of them. This is unbelievable. Is nobody at Dropbox using a Chromium-based browser on a Mac? Note: The problem does not happen in Firefox for me.
Hi @Nathan C.16, could you try opening the site in incognito mode to see if this helps, without any extensions running?
