Error when viewing .docx file, can't open.
I have this .docx file on dropbox, when I edit it with MS Word it totally normal (pic 1.). But when I preview it with dropbox it automatically arrange my collum width and make it like the (pic 2.) second picture here. Any one can help me with it. My client is working on the Dropbox previewer file only.
I deleted my Dropbox account, but my files were online-only and I can't open them.
I closed down an old account and downloaded the files. I have since learnt they are locked..... the accounts have been deleted. Pretty angry this isn't made obvious, but anyway...... is there any way we can unlock those files?
Being redirected to old pages when clicking on links to Dropbox pages
When I click on links to take me to Dropbox pages, I am instantly redirected to an old page and can't get out. I have tried logging out and back in, back can't shake it. In other words, I am jammed up. I review films and often press info is in Dropbox folders. Can anyone help? Thanks
My files on my laptop show up as unreadable
Basically, I could see my file. But every time I clicked my file. For example, if I click the pdf file, it shows up unreadable. Chrome said The webpage atfile:///C:/Users/XXXX/Dropbox/CS1/HW4/hw04.pdf might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. I could not access to any one of my file. \ And I login to my dropbox account. I could not see any of the files. But on my laptop, I could see the file but cannot access them
downloaded video is choppy and laggy
After downloading the video is choppy and laggy. I tried it on my android phone, my laptop (browser: chrome , firefox) , and via the Laptop app. I tried viewing the clip in my phone , with vlc and the standard windows 10 media player. Since its a mov file i tried converting it to mp4 first which didnt work as well. if i open the dropbox link where the clips are uploaded they are not choppy. I dont know what to try anymore. Any ideas what is going on?
Our large PDF file has been separated into individual files after uploading to Dropbox via app.
Hi, I was recently asked to upload a large file set from our local storage to dropbox. We basically dragged and dropped into the dropbox app... however now that we are looking at the data, it has separated our multi page PDF files into a new PDF file, one for each page!!! Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to reverse this or at the very least keep it from happening again? Thanks!Cannot view starred photos on the website - Error 429
HELP!!! Starred Photos is not working on the DropBox web site and I really need help! I have literally YEARS of work in uploading all of my family's photos and STARRING the ones I want to use for Shutterfly or other projects. But this year, I see that I cannot get the STARRED photos to load for a YEAR (or even a MONTH) to download them accurately - the photos appear and then disappear from the website. My husband opened up the "Inspector view" and took screenshots that show that there are hundreds of 429 requests to /starred/get_status-- so it seems like the website is just broken. PLEASE HELP WE'VE SUBSCRIBED FOR YEARS! And I really need the starred photos from the past few years to make holiday gifts on Shutterfly!
Can't watch videos from my computer when uploaded from my phone to a shared folder.
I have a shared folder with my business partner that we upload videos of property walkthroughs in. We can watch these videos from our phone, but when we try to open them up a computer the audio will play but the screen is black. Is anybody else dealing with this issue and know what the fix is?
