“There was an error downloading your file”
I know this problem has been shared here before in the past, but in all cases (at least, the ones I consulted) it resulted in a representative contacting OP directly via email, which doesn't really help other users. Please let me know if there's an actual solution posted here that I didn't catch.
Anyway, I’ve been trying to download a few files for a while now, but I keep on getting the same pop-up:
“There was an error downloading your file”
The original upload was rather sizeable (a large folder of .json files), but we’ve tried it in different configurations (downloading separate files/ downloading the entire folder, smaller zip files, etc.), all bearing the same result. Chrome gives the above message, Edge doesn't say anything at all.
When I open one of the individual files, it says it's too big to preview (8 MB for .json files, file itself is 45 MB), but as far as I know that shouldn't affect downloads. I've been Googling for anything on maximum file sizes, but nothing I can find mentions anything on specific file types.
Thanks in advance.

Hey TW90, let's jump right into this!
Does this error message happen only with your .json files? Can you try to clear your cache, and also use an incognito tab on your browser, and then try again?
If you get the same error message, feel free to attach it here, in order for us to have a visual too.
Keep me posted!

Hi Megan,
I'm afraid the actual error message doesn't provide much in terms of detail:
As for the file type, I've also tried downloading an .mp3 and .tbz2 file, same result. Clearing cookies didn't do anything.
