Pocketbook Synchronization

Hello,

I'm very new to dropbox and e-readers so I'm still trying to figure things out.

I've purchased a book via an online seller (bol.com) and downloaded it from their site. Now I'm trying to get it from my laptop to my pocketbook. There's two ways to do it: e-mail it to me or upload it via dropbox. The e-mailing part is very slow for some reason so I want to use dropbox.

It's very easy to just upload it to the right folder but everytime I try to download it from this folder I get an error saying that I'm trying to upload/download a file that I might not have purchased and that's why dropbox has kept me from downloading it.

How do I fix this?

  • Where is the error coming from?

My guess is that there are restrictions on this to stop copyright theft and so you need to be asking PocketBook how to do it - it may only be possible with books that have no digital rights management on them
