Hi all,

New Macbook Pro, downloaded the Dropbox app and logged in, all my online only folders are not visible in finder, the are visible on dropbox.com from  the dropbox app, they are also visible on the old macbook.

I tried downloading an online-only folder, nothing happens,

Help is much appreciated

Regards,

Alex

Hey @Reefz, since you can't see these files in your Finder, is it possible that you have used selective sync to remove them?

You mentioned the web icon, so I am guessing you're using our website to download the content. If so, can you try these steps instead, and let me know how it goes?

Hey @Reefz, welcome to our Community!

The first thing we'd like to check, is that the app's syncing status is up-to-date, and that it's not in the process of syncing, and downloading files.

Can you check, and let me know?

Also, you mentioned that you tried to download an online-only folder but nothing happens. How did you try to achieve that?

Did you download the folder from the website, directly to your MacBook, and why did it fail?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Thx for taking the time Megan,

- Files are up to date

- To download I went to webicon in the app, selected the folder, rightclicked to download, nothing happens, no popup, no confirm, nothing

Regards,

Alex
