JPG Pictures not opening up in Windows Explorer 10

I can see my pictures (JPG)  when logging into DROPBOX from Windows EDGE but I can not open them in WIndows 10 Explorer. They have a grey X next to them. A message displays "We can not open this file".

  • Thanks for the reply.

I reinstalled the DROPBOX app on my desktop and the problem went away.

Hi there greathusky, thanks for checking in with us - welcome aboard!

As a first step, I just want to make sure that I have a better visual of what you're seeing. Could you send me a screenshot (without any personal info) of what you describe?

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Awesome work on the troubleshooting, greathusky! Glad to hear that you're not having trouble with this anymore.

If anything else pops up or you have any questions, just give us a shout.

In the meantime, have a lovely day ahead!
