Storage Space
Looking for help with managing the storage space in your Dropbox account? Talk to the Dropbox Community and get advice from members.
1. How can I find out if he has more than one account? Can two personals be merged?
2. Also says he is out of space at 2 Gb, --but there are only two Libre Office docs, one .jpg image and an empty folder that was named camera uploads.
I can log into his account from my computer, if I can fix this tonight.

Hey @ASA_bch, thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the COmmunity!
When it comes to your first question, note that two personal Dropbox accounts cannot be merged at this time.
As for your second concern, could you have a look at their account's plan tab and let us know what's reported there in regards to their quota?

1. Will look at the plan tab. If my log-in works I'll have that this evening.
If it is really nearly empty, I'll just re-do the backup list, (and exclude the almost 5Tb external he uses).
I have decided that he MOST likely doesn't have two, maybe just old log in records.

Hey @ASA_bch, it's strange that there's no 'Plan' tab in your screenshot.
It should be between the 'General' one and the 'Security' one.
Can you try from a different browser and let us know if you see the same thing or if the plan tab along with the account's usage appears?

Note I have his account open in Edge as requested by Hannah, still no tab between 'General' and Security'.
Have you looked at www.dropbox.com/backups ?

There is no space for backup I turned it off till we can be selective. There is no synch, Dropbox turned that off.
Says full but has one image, two Libre docs, and an empty folder.
Maybe we could close the account and create another??
Hi @ASA_bch, could you confirm that the screenshot you posted was of the plan page directly?
Could you post a larger screenshot of that page?
