It says I am out of storage space.  I add files to my bosses dropbox files have 2TB of space with only 5GB being used.

Do you mean that you added files to a shared folder that your boss invited you to? If so, those files are in your account as well and take up space, and you need to have enough available space in your account for any shared folders that you're a member of.

Yes they are all her folders and we are invited and add to them as needed.

She may be the owner but by joining the folder, you're adding them to your account. You have your own copy of the folder and anything you do in that folder syncs with her copy. Since the folder in is your account, it takes up space in your account, so you need to have enough available space for anything in the folder.

You'll either need to upgrade your own account for more space or, if you don't need access to the files after you upload them, ask her to send you a File Request instead. You can upload directly to her account without adding the files to your own account.

Thank you! So she will need to do this for each folder in dropbox?

She could use just one File Request if she chooses. It's up to her and how she wants to manage them.
