Not getting a 'link personal account' option on the Dropbox app on my Mac

I'm trying to switch the account I have linked to my Mac.  I unlinked the first, but am not getting an option to link the one I want linked.

Hey @rachelmoore1215, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.

 

After you unlinked your computer from the first Dropbox account, were you prompted to sign back in to the Dropbox application?

 

That's how you'll link your personal account.

 

Can you check if you can sign in, by clicking on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar?

I did try signing out and signing back in to the account I want to link (after unlinking the other account).  Still no link for "personal account."

Hey Rachel!

 

Just to clarify, do you simply want to unlink one account from the computer and link to a different one?

 

If that's the case, just signing into the second account is all you need to do; there won't be a "link personal account" option.

 

Or do you perhaps want to link both a Dropbox Business and a personal account to the computer?
