How to remove an app on a dead computer

How to remove an app on a dead computer

My desktop computer died. How do we log out of drop box on a dead computer so that I can install the app on my new one? We can no longer turn on the old computer. It just spontaneously died the other day.

Because of the 3 device limit, the app won't install on my new one even though technically, I don't have it on 3 devices. It is counting the dead computer as a device.

Thank you,

Claudia

Hey @cakers795, thanks for posting your query today!

If you'd like to remove a connected computer from your account, you can go to the security tab in your account settings.

Scroll down to the 'devices' section and click on the trash can next to the computer in question, to unlink it from your account.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions.
